LARGE Mystery Box: 12" x 12" x 12"
Every item in this box comes from unclaimed and lost mail, our only source of inventory. Items arrive unpackaged, not in mailers or shipping bags, and most carry our store price stickers. See "Unclaimed mail vs. undeliverable mail" below.
Packed with shelf pulls straight from our retail store (our shelves are stocked entirely from unclaimed mail), plus items pulled from our unprocessed bulk inventory of unclaimed mail that hasn't been priced yet.
Condition: 99% new: undamaged, unused. This is the standard across nearly everything that comes through Smalls.
Most items carry a small price sticker from our store shelves. Some come from unprocessed bulk and won't be tagged. We avoid duplicates unless an item genuinely works well in multiples.
What's included: Hard goods only, plus a few soft goods like throws and small blankets (no mattress-size linens). No clothing, no glass, no liquids.
Everything comes straight from our sellable inventory. Nothing goes in these boxes that we wouldn't sell ourselves. No trash. To fit more product per box, we strip down bulky retail packaging (many items already had their brown boxes removed for shelf display).
Why buy this box? These are shelf pulls we're liquidating to make room in-store, so the value is real. We pack every box to the brim by size, not by dollar value. Expect volume, not a limit at the price minimum. Our customers find great value in these boxes, and half the fun is unpacking the whole thing and seeing what's inside. If you can't visit our store in Richmond, this box brings our store to you.
Unclaimed mail vs. undeliverable mail
Many mystery box sellers offer "undeliverable mail," which is not the same thing.
Unclaimed mail (what we sell): Packages that can't reach their recipient go through an official inspection. They're opened to look for delivery details or to match them to lost-mail claims. By the time this mail reaches us, the items are already out of their mailers. That's why you won't be opening sealed packages in this box.
Undeliverable mail: Returned packages that go back to a single company, which already knows what's inside. These are often resold still sealed in their poly mailers.
If unwrapping sealed packages is the experience you're looking for, this box isn't that. If you want a big haul of new, useful goods at a fraction of retail, it is.
